Staiy is always looking for the best ways to make your life more sustainable from head to toe; this week we are proud to continue our journey and welcome the eco- friendly underwear brand CasaGIN to our family.
CasaGIN is a company from the Veneto region that makes underwear, socks and eco-wear. From the processing of the yarns to the dyeing, from the preparation of the models to the cutting of the raw materials, up to the assembly and packaging, every single step of the production takes place in Italy in small selected companies. This is why we can talk about real Made in Italy, made up of small family-run businesses and local realities where manufacturing is still an art.
The underwear and eco-wear label was born in 2017 from the desire to create products that are capable of transmitting well-being in harmony with nature. The founder, Daniela Prandin, had already worked for important luxury fashion companies in the past, thus gaining considerable experience and a transversal knowledge of the clothing sector. However, she found that there was a huge sustainability gap within the Italian fashion market. As a result, she wished to develop a unique brand that could be a source of well-being for both the body and the Earth. This is how she thought of combining eco-sustainability with ethical work, founding CasaGIN, one of the first eco-sustainable clothing companies in Italy.
And so began the search for the most suitable fabrics to meet the needs of a market that is increasingly attentive to materials and the well-being of the body. The brand’s first project was a line of underwear, the garments that first and foremost come into contact with our skin. They chose natural fabrics, produced according to eco-sustainable procedures, gentle on the skin and safe for the environment, such as BEECH FIBRE – MODAL, and EUCALYPTUS FIBRE – TENCEL.
